I really love the name James on a girl. I think it's gorgeous, what's you're opinion on it? Would you be suprised to hear a girl named James. I was thinking James Catherine or James Mable.

i would be surprised if someone named james turned out to be female - perhaps jaymes would make more sense. or, what about 'jamie' instead?

I agree that Jaymes *looks* better, but it still sounds a little odd to me; BUT, it's all about getting used to things right? Casey and Jamie sound like they could be either for a boy or a girl, but that's cause I've heard of that before, know what I mean?
If you like James/Jaymes, go ahead!!

My personal opinion is that I would be shocked as well to hear James/Jaymes as a girl.
But... that being said, if it's what you like, go for it!!
Jaimes or Jaymes would maybe be a better way to spell it though.
Let us know what you've decided.
I myself am trying to find a girls name, and I've decided that once I decide I'm not telling anyone until the baby is born. That way I don't have this person saying I like it, that person saying I don't. And then I feel torn about naming my child the name I truly like.
And I think that is really what it's all about, it's something YOU like and it's Your choice!!!
