I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for deals, bargains, sales....anything to save on the mountain of expenses (that are, of course, worth every penny for my little guy! )
Anyone else pick up on the giveaway Sears did over the weekend? They were just handing out cards for $10, $20 or $200! I went to get one and ended up getting one of the $200 cards so I immediately went to the kids section and stocked up!
They told me they'll be doing it again soon so I'm keeping my eyes on the Sears Canada website for updates. Cant beat free!
I'm in Toronto. If anyone knows of good places I can go to that'll have something for a 3yo post up the info!

Awesome idea, Melanie. Thanks! I was going to do this on the PC blog but you beat me to it. Let's start here!
Where did you get those Sears GCs? Is it all over Canada? How did you find out about it?
On my end, for those of you in Ontario, I know Attractions Ontario offers fairly significant savings for attractions all over the province. You can go to their web site and print off the various coupons.
Thanks again.

| That's awesome that you got a gift card! I'll have to be on the look out for the next one! Do you know if they do it at all the Sears stores or just at the one you went to? I've been finding great deals on Kijiji. I'm not much for buying used items but I have found some baby items that saved me a fortune so far. There are no signs that thye've been used, no odors, stains, frayed edges. I find that if you are looking to purchase something, look it up on the net first and sometimes the company has a coupon on their site that you can print off.

| That's true, Kijiji and Craig's List are a great way to buy and sell kids' (and other) stuff. We actually found a cottage to rent this summer just by me going on Kijiji and posting a note about what we were looking for! I must have received over 30 responses. It was great!

| Melanie30's magic post prompted me to compile a list of freebies, discounts and coupons for stores and online sites across Canada. I'm still researching and writing up the list. If you'd like to receive it, post a reply here and I can PM it to you. At some point I can share the completed list here on the Forums, too. I just want to gauge interest so post here if you'd like to receive a copy. Have a great day, Lisa

| Wow! That's awesome. Thank you. I know of some great discounts for the Gap, Old Navy and other stores in the western provinces. I will look up the info and let you know. Happy Fathers' Day. Mimi

| Good deals are always appreciated. I have ck'd Kijiji too, but found that some stuff is still close to full price. I have used one store here in Edmonton called Once Upon a Child which had some good deals, but am still on an endless search. I have a baby girl on the way, and a boy who will be 3 next month!!
