Please tell me I'm not the only one in this situation.
After just recently getting married (September 8, 2007) I am ready to ttc. I've had the baby fever for a while now but have always brushed it off until "after we're married". Well, now we're married and I'm rip raring and ready to go.
Everytime I talk to my husband Isaac about it, he says he's not ready, or that we'll start trying "soon". I've tried to find out why he's not ready, and all he says is that he doesn't know why.
It's frusterating! I know that I have to wait until he's ready, but I'm afraid that he wants to wait until we're financially able to have a baby. My views are that you'll never be where you want to be financially, as humans, we always want more more more.
As I see it, if we were to get pregnant, we'd make it work.
Please tell me if I'm crazy!

You're not crazy. Yes, it's good to be financially capable of having a baby but it is true that we (as humans) often want more - more money, better house, etc, etc, etc...DH and I came up with a plan of when we were going to start TTC. We aren't financially out of debt but we're on the road and that's the point where we said we wanted to be at to be able to TTC. I think it would be a good idea to sit down with your hubby and find out what he's waiting for and figure out when it will be right for both of you. All the best!!
