| My son is 7 months old and I haven't had my period since he was born, I'm still nursing him but less than before, because I give him solid food. I was wondering if that has happened to anyone else.

| This isn't unheard of. Some momos who nurse a long time can go 18 months without their period returning.

| My daughter is almost 8 months old and starting to wean herself. I haven't started my period yet either. I read in a book that this sometimes happens to slender women (larger women apparently produce more estrogen - according to this book) and that some women don't have their period return until a few months after completely weaning. However, I was feeling nauseous and even though I am on the pill, I took a pregnancy test just to be sure (happily it was negative).
