I'm breastfeeding mom for a 6 month old baby, and I want to introduce formula for him but he refuses it, he chewing the nipple then he spits the formula away, although I bought a suitable bottle and nipples! Anyone has this problem, plz tell me what to do. thanks in advance

I cant completely relate, but i would say perseverence is key. ANd dont try to feed him after hes already fed. Or you could try adn start BF adn about half way through take him off the breast and pop the bottle into his mouth!

OTher than that i have no advice. GOod luck and keep trying - be consistent.

Have you tied a different type of bottle and nipple? Some babies are really fussy and prefer one type of nipple over another.

I just recently offered my daughter formula. We tried Enfamil A+ which is supposed to be the closest formula to breastmilk. Once we figured out which nipple she liked, introducing formula was a breeze. We started mixing an ounce of 2 of formula with 3-4 ounces of EBM and then gradually increased the % formula.

Hope that helps. Good luck!
