When does implantation bleeding start? I'm having light spotting and I'm on CD: 27. I've never had any implantation bleeding when l was pregnant with my son. Can anyone help me with this?

| My doctor told me that it's quite common to have a little spotting "around the time that you'd normally get your period". I had quite a bit of spotting with my first, in my first couple months of pregnancy...enough that I had an ultrasound to confirm the viability of the fetus. She was fine and is now 2.5 years old. With my second, I had a little spotting at about 7 weeks. Again, he's fine and is now 9.5 months. A little spotting is usually nothing to worry about...just let your doctor know. Heavy bleeding is something you should have checked out right away, though.

No spotting today, my temp was up again this morning. How long are you to have implantation spotting? I had spotting on Cycle Day 18 then it stopped, started spotting again on Cycle Day 22,23,24,25. is this normal to have spotting like that?

| I see this is an old post but I'm in the same boat. My bbt has been elevated for 15 days after ovulation now, and I've had some brownish spotting w/ mucas-like discharge for the past 2 days. BBT hasn't gone down with this spotting as it has before when I got my period. I'm on CD 33 - cycles usually last 28-32 days. Anyone have any ideas on this? Is it a prelude to AF or it is implantation bleeding? Should I take a HPT?
