We do not actively moderate or edit postings to this board so we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any posting. You are fully responsible for the content of your postings so please govern yourself accordingly.
Politeness Policy
All members must understand and accept, prior to using these forums, that these are public forums. We encourage you to maintain a respectful, friendly, polite tone when posting. This talk board is supposed to be a helpful community where everyone is welcome. Don’t flame someone for his or her opinions. When you post on a public forum you are going to get a range of responses and you may not agree with them all. Offensive language, name-calling, racial or ethnic slurs, slander or any other negative comments will not be tolerated. There is a report button on every post and thread and members will report to us all offensive comments/materials posted. If you do not follow these rules your posts will be deleted without notice and your membership can be revoked at anytime without notification.
Vendor Review Policy
While we want you to share your experiences with each other we are implementing some rules surrounding posting vendor reviews.
ParentsCanada.com is not responsible for any comments made by members with regards to comments about vendors – good or bad. On the other hand, you are completely responsible for your postings and any liability that may result. Govern yourself accordingly. Be careful not to post anything that may be false, libellous or defamatory. By posting on these boards you agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from any loss resulting from your postings. Please do not voice your personal grievances on the forums. We discourage members posting anything that isn’t your own personal experience. Do not post hearsay, as it cannot be verified by you personally. You are taking someone’s livelihood and putting it into jeopardy by passing on a story that may or may not be true. Just because another member says it’s true does not mean it is so.
When reading posts from other members, please do not believe everything you read, and put any negative comments in the context of other information you have. Remember that very few, if any, businesses can claim to have 100% customer satisfaction. Please do not participate in threads that violate our policies as this only draws more attention to the thread by keeping it at the top of the forum. Please use the “Report” feature on every post throughout the forums to notify us of any post or thread you feel violates these policies.
The opinions expressed in these forums do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the site owner, forum moderators or administrators. ParentsCanada.com cannot be held responsible for any opinions expressed on the talk board system, nor can it be held responsible for the safety of its members.
Vendor Posting Policy
Vendors are not permitted to post about their services off the Vendor Forum itself. They cannot have their business contact information in their signature regardless of where they are posting.
If you wish to advertise with us on ParentsCanada.com please contact us at sales@parentscanada.com. Any vendor found soliciting business of any kind, anywhere off the Vendor Forum can and will have their posts deleted immediately and their membership revoked at anytime without warning.
If you are a vendor, but are also a parent, please feel free to participate in all sections of the Forums but do not refer to your professional products or services at any time.
Signature Policy
The use of tickers and image-based signatures can significantly slow down the operation of online forums like ours. Accordingly, ParentsCanada.com does not permit images to be uploaded to user signatures. They must be strictly text-based. If you do upload a ticker or other image-based signature to your profile it will be removed without notice.
Vendors cannot have their business contact information in their signature regardless of where they are posting.
Other
We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message. You agree that neither these forums, nor any person or entity associated with them will be held responsible for any content.
You agree that you will not use our forums to post any material or links to any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threaten, invasive of a persons privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.
You agree that you will not post copyrighted content without the express permission of the copyright holder. Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are also inappropriate in this forum. We reserve the right to remove, edit, close or move any post for any reason at our discretion.
