Hey Ladies,

Just curious how long everyone is breastfeeding.

My son is 7 months and were still going strong.  When we came home from the hospital I was hoping to hang in there until he was 3 weeks.  It's amazing how time flys.  I really love it and can't imagine giving it up.  I think I'll BF until he's a year...that's when I go back to work but maybe I'll keep a feeding or two!

My original plan was to bf until she was able to have homo milk (10mths).  I didn't want to do the formula (personal thing).

But, now, I am thinking I will do it until she is at least a year old.  I too love it, there is something about her satisfied face while she is feeding and when she is done that just gets me.

I have been breastfeeding one child or another for over seven consecutive years now. Ds #3 is only 7 months old so my milk glands will be going strong for another few years still ...
