| Hello My name is Amy and I have read a few parent talks to see what is talked about and I have just replied to one of the topics. I am a new mom of a wonderful little boy. His name is Austin and he is my world. It has been amazing to have Austin with us. My husband and I are loving every minute with him. Austin was born On June 6th 2006. we did not find out the gender of the baby until I delivered him. I could not believe that I was a mother and that I know a son. Since Austin has been born we have had a lot of doctor visits because Austin has a Brachial Plexus injury from birth. Austin and I have been doing therapy 5 times a day at home and have been going to Mac for doctor visit and to seen a few occupational Therapist. The injury was just a little to much for Austin to repair on his own. We will be going a surgery on October 26th 2006. I am worried but I know that he is in good hands. I was wondering if anyone else has had a child with this injury or if your child has gone in for surgery and how you dealt with it? Thanks Amy I look forward to talking with you all
